    Consulting Engineer- Nuclear Facilities

    Company Overview

We are actively seeking talented mid and senior-level engineers with a strong background in Probabilistic Risk Analysis (PRA) or other risk-based projects. This position supports regulatory compliance and risk assessment needs within the nuclear industry, with the flexibility for remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates.
    Our diverse team serves clients globally, providing specialized consulting services ranging from routine nuclear power plant operations to cutting-edge research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing plant safety and efficiency.

    Job Overview:
    As a Consulting Engineer with Jensen Hughes, you will join a dynamic team of nuclear consultants dispersed across the nation. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing research projects and collaborate on software development initiatives.

    Responsibilities:
    • Developing and maintaining PRA models for internal and external hazards.
    • Conducting human reliability analyses within complex systems.
    • Performing accident analysis using specialized modeling codes.
    • Creating and updating Level II PRA models.
    • Assisting utilities in complying with regulatory requirements.
    Required Qualifications:
    A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required. Prior experience in PRA, risk-informed applications, and strong communication skills are essential. US Citizenship required.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in nuclear power plant engineering or related technical areas is highly desirable. Project management skills would be advantageous.
