    Saltmarsh is currently seeking a Senior Consultant with Managed Service Provider Experience who embodies strong client service leadership qualities and is looking to join a company that prioritizes both personal and professional growth, while supporting career advancement opportunities. This role is based in downtown Tampa, FL, with work at various client locations in the Tampa Bay area.

    As a Senior Consultant - MSP in our IT division, you will need a robust technical background, excellent analytical capabilities, and a track record of effective problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include managing client projects, from planning to completion, and using your interpersonal skills to address technical issues promptly and professionally.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead by example, promoting best practices within the team and supporting other technicians
    • Act as a consultant to clients, offering tailored solutions and implementation strategies
    • Execute projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations
    • Configure and maintain firewall systems
    • Implement Microsoft systems, virtualization cloud services, and workstation projects
    • Execute network-level projects involving WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
    • Collaborate with the Project Manager to strategize and document project delivery schedules
    • Ensure completion of approved project plans and obtain sign-off from the Project Manager
    • Implement projects according to the documented delivery plan
    • Participate in on-call rotation as needed

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of MSP experience is a must
    • 2-3 years of experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (setup, configuration, design, and troubleshooting)
    • Experience in leading small projects, including planning
    • Intermediate skills in networking, applications, infrastructure, and security
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Migrations
    • Strong troubleshooting abilities
    • Flexible to travel to client sites, sometimes on short notice (downtown parking compensated, mileage reimbursed)
