    Description

    Software Design Engineer - Redmond, WA - NO C2C

    100% Onsite: Redmond, WA - Onsite - 5 days a week.

    Mon - Fri, 40 hours a week, Standard core hours, NO OT.

    Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

    • Minimum 2 years experience with C or C++ development.
    • Minimum 1 years experience with msbuild or comparable build system technologies.
    • Cloud services, Azure DevOps experience

    This role has been opened due to extension of VS2013 support and development. .

    Typical Day in the Role

    • ·Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to provide engineering system infrastructure, build and release support for Visual C++ products.
    • ·Key projects: This role will contribute to the continuity of support of the Visual C++ Runtime and necessary engineering system requirements and changes.
    • ·Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of applying source code changes to supported versions of the product as needed; evolving, extending and improving the supporting infrastructure; documenting processes and building automation to simplify those process.

    • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with complex product build systems, especially those based on MSBuild on C++ projects
