Every person is valuable. This is what we believe at Diakonie Himmelsthür. That's why we support people with disabilities in their daily lives. We accompany them in their living, working, and leisure activities, so that everyone can get more out of life.


Music can be heard from one room, the washing machine is running in a shared apartment, and a resident quickly explains in the stairwell that they are going to get a pizza.

The atmosphere in the residential facility in Barsinghausen is open and cheerful.

In the house built in 2014 on Rehrbrinkstraße, 24 clients live in four apartments and nine studios, accompanied in their daily lives by our employees.

"Inclusion is simply lived here," reports one employee proudly. "I have the opportunity to work very individually with each person. And that makes me happy."


Your tasks:


  • Support people with disabilities in simple household, nursing, and accompanying tasks
  • Basic and simple medical care after instruction
  • Accompaniment by a specialist
