Position Description

Grow as a professional while making a difference in children's lives_

The Martial Arts Instructor will teach the fundamentals of Martial Arts. Duties also include overseeing paperwork (roll and sign-in sheets) and assisting with program promotion.

Qualifications

AGE: 18 years of age or older
-
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

Strong background and minimum 1 year experience teaching martial arts to children
Programming/curriculum planning
Experience working with children
Ability to communicate effectively and relate to youth.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse group of individuals
Strong character values, communication skills, emotional maturity
Current EMSA First Aid, Adult, and Child CPR and AED Certifications (ARC, AHA, and ASHI certifications only)
