- Interact with various operating systems, applications, environments, and cloud computing platforms to create IT automation and orchestration activities
- Use open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project
- Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow
- Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem
- Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
- Work with cloud native services to implement event-driven architectures via Infrastructure as Code You will excel in this role if you are:
- Well-rounded: You will need to bring in-depth experience across multiple technologies including scripting, development/test/QA tools, cloud, container, and orchestration tools, Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, security and automation.
- AWS experience is required.
- Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Eight (8) years minimum experience and a bachelor's degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.
- Experience with agile software development in Python, Go, or
- Experience performing automation in Windows or Linux environments using scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
- Customer facing skills to drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph What we are desiring from you (i.e.
- AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator Associate Certification
- Experience working with JSON or YAML to write Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
- Experience with development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
