Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Intelligence Community in Maryland. This is a hybrid position.

Position Title:Software Engineer

Position Location:This position will be onsite in Fort Meade, MD.

Position Description

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with other developers, design and implement features, and serve as a mentor to less experienced engineers. With a focus on innovation and analytical thinking, you'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Here's a snapshot of what we're looking for:

Daily Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features
Serve as mentor to less experienced software engineers
Have fun and enjoy coming to work

Requirements:

BA/BS Business Information Technology, BA/BS Computer Science, BA/BS Computer Engineering
6 years of relevant technical experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
DevOps experience, to include version control, automated builds, automated testing, and continuous integration with tools such as GitLab
Self-starter with strong innovative and analytical ability
Proficient in Python, Java or Go
Experience in web development using progressive JavaScript frameworks such as , React, or Angular
Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for full software development life cycle; coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps (AWS, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD tools and benefits
Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
Well practiced in Agile development

Security Clearance:

Must currently possess Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
