Sabert is looking for a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team
Monday - Friday, 8 hours shift

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Tech Trainee.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in maintenance and repair tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The Maintenance Tech Trainee will assist in the inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various equipment and facilities, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.


Responsibilities:

Assist in Maintenance Tasks: Work alongside experienced technicians to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Learn Troubleshooting Techniques: Shadow senior technicians to learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for oneself and colleagues.

Gain Technical Knowledge: Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills.

Perform Repairs: Assist in the repair and replacement of defective parts and components under supervision.

Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.

Assist in Facility Management: Support facility management tasks such as building inspections, HVAC system checks, and preventive maintenance activities.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in maintenance and repair.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians.
