By joining our Operations team, you will support our Chief Operating Officer and work along side our hospital leaders and their teams.


Position Summary:


Screens and handles routine matters for Office of Vice President; performs administrative duties such as drafting, editing, and typing complex reports, developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate office protocol and organization, as well as competently executing or delegating the day-to-day administrative tasks.

Competencies:


  • Education:_
Requires two years college level coursework, technical business school or equivalent.

  • Knowledge:_
  • Requires thorough knowledge of secretarial, office and administrative procedures.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of business and/or medical terminology.
  • Skills:_
  • Must have interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations, including poise, tact and diplomacy, and to interact with diverse groups of people within the Institution and from outside agencies.
  • Specialized secretarial skills such as office management, shorthand, statistical typing and bookkeeping.
  • Requires keyboard skills at equivalent of 65 WPM.
  • Requires math skills appropriate to understand and perform basic budget and spreadsheet functions.
  • Requires an excellent command of English grammar and spelling usage.
  • Work Experience:_
Three to five years of related experience.
