The competence area Glatt Process & Plant Engineering plans, designs and implements projects in plant engineering worldwide.

The range of services includes the expansion or modernization of existing installations as well as the partial or complete construction of production facilities. With sustainable process and factory planning tailored to individual technology requirements, the competence area supports its customers from idea to turnkey production.

For our location in Weimar, we are looking for a Project Engineer Software Development / Programmer (m/f/d) to strengthen our competence area Process & Plant Engineering.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creation and further development of control software (PLC, SCADA, HMI)
  • Ensuring timely order processing in cooperation with all relevant departments in the company
  • Planning and optimization of processes in control technology as well as coordination of control-related issues
  • Testing of control software in simulation environment
  • Commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems and control systems on site at the customer's premises

Your profile:

  • Technician (m/f/d) or completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / automation technology / mechatronics or comparable
  • You already have first experience in the above-mentioned areas
  • You have good knowledge of PLC programming
