    Specialist- Senior

    Hybrid

    About the Job
    • Duration: 12 Months Contract (possibility of extension)
    • Location: Hybrid- Raleigh, NC
    • Pay rate: Hourly, depending on experience

    Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years experience. This Specialist supports the GIS Unit's enterprise database development and administration efforts through a wide variety of activities and responsibilities.
    • Documentation, Technical Writing, and Esri Product Suite.
    • Follow guidance of senior GIS dba's to support a wide variety of activities and responsibilities including product development and maintenance, customer support, tool development and maintenance
    • Has working knowledge of Esri data types including basic understanding of SDE, data governance and geospatial metadata concepts.
    • Has working knowledge of general GIS concepts related to data, analysis, editing, and basic understanding of database technologies.
    • Consult with senior level technical staff and decision-makers, on an ongoing basis, to formulate solutions. Work independently with customers to understand requirements and collaboratively develop solutions.
