The Baupiloten BDA is an innovative and interdisciplinary architecture firm located in Schöneberg, Berlin, specializing in participatory development of educational, cultural, and residential buildings.

We are socially engaged and experimental in our approach. The needs of people as users are our motivation to design exciting architecture.

We are currently seeking an experienced architect (project manager) to join our team in Franklinton, NC.


Your responsibilities:

  • Planning highquality architectural projects and feasibility studies
  • Designing experimental, participatory timber constructions
  • Future assumption of project management responsibilities
  • Coordinating and communicating with partner firms and clients

Your qualifications:

  • You have at least 710 years of professional experience in various phases and ideally have already led projects yourself
  • You have strong design skills and a solid technical understanding
  • You have extensive CAD knowledge and are proficient in Vectorworks
  • You have a selfsufficient, structured, precise, and conscientious work style
  • You are passionate about innovative, environmentally and socially conscious building and want to deepen and develop this, ideally with experience in circular building and timber construction
  • You are fluent in German
