What you're good at:

• You're technology savvy. You move fast on a computer.
• You're a good project manager and organized.
• You've lived in the technical productivity suites (Office/Google/Acrobat/etc) and _know how to get stuff done_.
• You're pretty good at that calculator app on your phone ie you're decent at basic math
• You're into helping recognize and appreciate people
• You're an excellent communicator.
• You have a sense of urgency and take pride in helping your team excel
• You like following a process, consider yourself detail oriented, and like checking off todo's.
• In fact you really, really like checking boxes, clearing inboxes and lists, and being efficient
• You're a patient and flexible person. Estimators deal with all sorts of personalities we have a passionate team trying to take care of tight deadlines and challenging and creative builds.

• Signs, Graphics, Print, New Construction our world is _vast_. I mean, there's a lot to learn. There's a considerable but expected learning curve. You gotta be sharp and grasp things quickly.
• A lot of screen time: some people love the screen time, and some not so much this is mostly digital estimating so there is a lot of time at your workstation; however, our philosophy is to give you really nice tools and make things comfortable for you we treat you like a person, not a "human resource".
• Mix tight deadlines and lot's of complexity and customization with a dose of demanding customers what a fantastic and tasty combo The inevitable tensions can bring a lot of satisfaction and some stress.

Position Summary

FASTSIGNS Everett, Lancaster & York is looking for someone to join our dynamic team as an Estimate Specialist to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction, engineering, manufacturing, and implementation projects.

The role involves analyzing project requirements, updating costs, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be the driving force behind the success of our projects.


_Summary of the most important things:_Patience**:

• an estimator needs to be cool, calm, and remain curious in the face of less-than-ideal information (roll with the punches) in a fast-paced work environment.-
  High Attention to detail:
• an estimator needs to be quick to determine what is needed in extreme detail, and build the estimate accurately. Again often with
