    NORTH CHARLESTON

    ***COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE MANAGER***

    Job Description:

    The Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance of Landscapes installed by Pleasant Places. This includes the comprehensive management of crew, tasks, tools, time and paperwork. The Manager will maintain existing client relationships as well as develop new client leads. This position reports to Pleasant Places owner and is located in North Charleston, SC.

    Job Responsibilities & Duties

    The maintenance manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Maintenance department,

    including:

    Gardening and lawn care for existing clients.

    Follow through on provided job leads for landscape maintenance services.

    Selling of new maintenance contracts to Pleasant Places installation clients.

    Business development of other client leads.

    Crew management.

    Scheduling.

    Documentation of work for both client records and billing purposes.

    Complete other tasks and special projects, as assigned.

    Meet minimum annual sales revenue goals, as outlined at beginning of employment.

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and eager to take on responsibility and

    grow with Pleasant Places. In addition, he or she will possess:

    Demonstrated experience in commercial landscape care and maintenance.

    Strong self-motivation with the desire to lead a growing segment within the company.

    An interest in business development of the maintenance department.

    Excellent customer service skills.

    Working knowledge of plants, lawns and basic landscaping.

    Excellent written & verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

    Compensation Package:

    Salary commensurate with experience. $90,000 - $120,000/ year
