Dog Rescue Property Manager
For a dog lover with property maintenance and repair experience, this could be a dream job. Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary in Acton, Maine is looking for a full-time property manager.

The position includes handling and overseeing corrective and preventative maintenance for our 6-acre multi-building rescue campus, seasonal ice cream shop and mini golf course, wooded hiking trails, and nearby 1800's era farmhouse with a swimming pool.

The property manager is responsible for keeping the open-to-the-public campus fully functional and "show ready."


Essential Job Functions

• Oversee ongoing maintenance of grounds, buildings, common areas and amenities
• Troubleshoot and address maintenance and repair needs reported by general manager and staff
• Perform routine repairs that do not require a specialized technician
• Schedule and oversee onsite work by service and maintenance vendors
• Order approved supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Inspect all operating systems regularly and report issues/needs to general manager
• Oversee mowing and other landscaping efforts for rescue campus and farmhouse
• Oversee pool maintenance and coordinate vendor pool open and close for season
• Coordinate season open and close maintenance for ice cream shop and mini golf
• Oversee vendorprovided snow maintenance during winter
• Maintain rescue's vehicles and ensure registrations are current
• Track activities and provide regular updates to general manager
• Occasional dog care during down time as needed or desired

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least one year of property maintenance or related experience preferred (construction, plumbing or electrician experience a plus)
• Able to communicate effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• General knowledge of basic carpentry and maintenance techniques
• Able to work around and handle dogs as needed
• Able to handle the physical demands of the job
• Able to use hand tools and power tools
• Able to safely operate dog rescue vehicles

Pay, Benefits and Schedule

• Weekly pay with direct deposit commensurate with experience
• Company paid time off and vacation upon eligibility
• Fulltime schedule will be coordinated by general manager and may include some evening or weekend hours

Pay:
$42, $56,489.27 per year
