    Description

    Join our team as an Electrical Engineer and contribute to the design and development of electrical control systems for Oil & Gas drilling equipment. This role involves producing comprehensive documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. If you're a skilled engineer with experience in control systems and an interest in the Oil & Gas industry, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop electrical control systems for Oil & Gas drilling equipment, producing key documentation including Electrical One Line Diagrams, Wiring/Interconnect Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, I/O Lists, and more.
    • Collaborate with third parties and customers, coordinating and reviewing designs to meet requirements and constraints.
    • Design and oversee new drilling products, coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests, commissioning, and start-up support.
    • Provide leadership in enhancing quality and efficiency, ensuring designs meet domestic and international standards.
    • Perform related tasks as assigned.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
    • At least 5 years of experience in control systems.
    • Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and IEC standards, as well as ABS and DNV rules.
    • Familiarity with hazardous area ratings (ATEX, IECEx, UL, FM, and CSA).
    • Experience with AutoCAD and PLC/HMI applications is a plus.
    • Previous experience with drilling equipment and applications is preferred.
    • Knowledge of hazardous areas.
    • Experience in designing electrical control systems.
    • Familiarity with drilling equipment and applications.
    • Minimum 5 years of control system experience.
    • Occasional domestic and international travel.
