Description

We are looking for a
Bilingual Chinese Construction Manager to join our company to oversee multiple projects in the Southern California area.

We have a solid pipeline of work for the foreseeable future.

Here are a few responsibilities you would expect:

Job Description:

Communicate with subcontractors on company expectations and quality control; Develop and maintain positive client and subcontractor relationships;
Be onsite daily at custom residential building site to coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules;
Estimate job pricing including material and labor, and compare with estimates given from subcontractors;
Monitor and review contractors' work as it relates to budget, schedule and owner's program; Keep daily log reports of all site activity;
Prepare construction updates for the development group and/or ownership;
Prepare and monitor cost estimates, budget updates, change order reports;
Control project documentation and historical data regarding construction;
Manage subcontractor schedules and completion deadlines;
Keep an organized control on multiple job sites and contractors' schedules;
Receive city inspections and communicate with subcontractors any cityissued corrections.

Basic Qualifications:

Fluent in speaking English and Chinese (required)
Proficiency in various types of construction software, Microsoft office, etc. (the company can provide relevant equipment and supplies);
Five (5) or more years of general contractor or construction related experience with at least 2 years being in a Journeyman or residential construction management role in Los Angeles;
Ability to read blueprints;
Team leadership skills
