Research Assistant (m/f/d)


is to be filled as soon as possible on a part-time basis of 19 hours and 55 minutes per week,
limited for a period of 2 years.


The Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) at the Technical University OWL is one of the leading research institutions in the field of industrial information technology and is therefore one of the defining research institutes in the top cluster "it's OWL - Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalen-Lippe".

Industrial communication, image processing and authentication, computer intelligence and human-technology interaction are among the institute's areas of expertise.


The area of responsibility will include in particular the following aspects:

  • Familiarization and preparation of current trends in the field of industrial information technology, especially in the competence fields of the research group
  • information modeling, digital twin, IT security
  • Conception, planning, project management, commissioning and monitoring of the IT infrastructure and setups of the research group
  • Support in teaching, supervision of students in internships, projects and final theses
  • Organizational support for the working group, the institute and the department
