Facility and Office Operations Manager
.

Duties will involve serving as the point of contact between our technology vendor and staff, supporting onboarding and offboarding operations, purchasing office supplies and taking proper inventory.

Additionally you will be responsible for managing the office space, serving as the point of contact with building management and our executive team.

This individual will report to the COO and will work to ensure daily office operations and staff experience is world class.


As a Manager of Office Operations you will:

  • Execute protocols and policies to support an equitable and inclusive workplace
  • Manage all computer and hardware inventory
  • Interface with our technology vendor and serve as primary POC for vendor and staff
  • Promptly respond to requests from C-Suite individuals and key clients
  • Take care with sensitive and confidential information
  • Oversee daily office operation
  • Coordinate staff meetings and offsites
  • Manage conference room calendar and reservations
  • Purchase office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels
  • Produce reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new contracts
  • Creating presentations and other managementlevel reports.
  • 23 years in an office environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; Track record of building new initiatives from conception to execution
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Dedicated to meeting deadlines while working within fast cycle time frames
  • Creative thinking and resourcefulness in problemsolving
  • Prodigious work ethic and spirit of generosity
  • Skill at working both independently and in a team environment
  • Active contributor to a diverse and inclusive workplace

Employment Type:
Full-time


Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000


Location:
This job is based in Washington, DC.

National Journal is operating on a hybrid basis, with employees required to be in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

During the month of August 2024, National Journal teams will be fully remote.
