    Special Education Teacher

    We are looking for a Special Education Teacher in Chicago area interested in a new opportunity. We need a dedicated and qualified special education teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic full-time chance.

    Job Description:
    We are searching for a passionate and committed Special Education Teacher to join us. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have a crucial role in providing personalized instruction and support to students with various learning needs. You will work together with other educators, specialists, and families to establish an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in special education or Masters/Doctoral degree in Special Education/ Teaching Students with Special Needs
    • Must have a valid Illinois Teaching Certificate with special education endorsement.

    Responsibilities
    As a special education teacher in our district, you will be responsible for:

    • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, collaborating with parents, guardians, and other members of the educational team.
    • Differentiating instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
    • Using a variety of instructional techniques, assistive techniques, and accommodations to support student learning.
    • Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to ensure student growth and achievement.
    • Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to encourage the inclusion of students with special needs in the general education setting.
    • Fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment that embraces diversity and promotes acceptance and understanding among all students.
