Quality Assistant (FULL TIME)

Company Description:

Darmerica is an FDA registered and Florida Board of Pharmacy licensed distributor for compounding pharmacies throughout the 50 States.

We supply a full line of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutraceuticals, peptides, cosmetic ingredients, natural herbal extracts as well as specialty excipients.

Primary Responsibilities:

Quality new hires will start in Operations and learn all duties prior to being in Quality
Assist in the operations of Quality Unit preparing COAs & SDS and SOPs before the quality supervisor's approval
Review of the manufacturer's COAs and stability data to assist Supplier Qualification Program
Assist maintaining the training program
Release of all incoming materials, relabeled and repacked products for storage and shipping of products
Handling Returned Products and assist conducting investigations, deviation and tracking CAPA
Ensure that adequate environmental monitoring is in place and functional in cGMP facilities
Assist in the maintenance of retained samples and review/maintain completed batch records
Assist in the calibration and maintenance program
Assist with conducting thirdparty lab testing for incoming products and handling thirdparty pest control
Review and approve all electronic results for ID testing of products
Other duties as assigned (after training)

Secondary Responsibilities:

Assisting operations receiving all incoming materials, relabeling and repacking products and shipping orders, and other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Applicants must be a Permanent Resident with a Green Card or US Citizen.

Minimum of 2 year working experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the pharmaceutical, compounding pharmacy, food, cosmetic or nutraceutical industries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Proficient with MS Excel and Word with strong keyboarding skills
Able to work effectively in a friendly team environment
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multitask
Must be familiar with GMP and GDP (Good Documentation Practices)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Sciences a minimum (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Biology, etc.)

Salary Range:
$38,000 - $45,000 per year based on experience, salary can be adjusted after probation based on performance. Employee bonus plan up to 10% annual performance bonus, prorated quarterly after completing probation.

Full Time Working Hours:35 hours weekly, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
