• Billing & Collections: Billing and collecting from private health insurances, HMOs, WC, PIP, legal cases, and Medicaid/Medicare
• Follow up on pending claims by calling insurances
• Follow up on unpaid claims
• Work with doctor's offices and hospitals to obtain charge information and billing details
• Verify insurance benefits and enter all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors
• Follow up with insurances on appealed claims
• Answer phones, assist patients with questions, take messages, and screen calls
• Maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Strong customer service skills & team player attitude
• Previous experience with medical coding or billing desired
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail
