A Equipment Stress Engineer is needed for Skiltrek.
This position will be preparing design documentation, performing calculations using engineering software, and preparing specifications for complex mechanical equipment used in the waste treatment process and support systems.

responsibilities:
Perform equipment stress analyses using FEA software to produce equipment design calculations, as well as perform reviews of FEA and other submittals prepared by equipment vendors.
Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines in the development of the design.
Support the production of the equipment drawings.
This may be performed as an individual contributor or leading other engineers.
Prepare reports and studies in resolving open technical issues related to the equipment design.
Support development of cost estimates and schedules for mechanical equipment.
Ensure work is performed to the project's quality standards for nuclear facilities while executing to the schedule.
Skills:
Broad knowledge of the application of Mechanical Engineering design principles.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), work well with others, and flexible.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Education and Experience:
Level 1:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
With minimum of 1 year related experience.
Related experience includes, but is not limited to, the design and fabrication of complex equipment, experience with liquid & gas handling equipment preferred (vessels, tanks, air handling equipment, mixers, etc.
Level 2:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
With minimum of 3 years related experience.
Related experience includes, but is not limited to, the design and fabrication of complex equipment, experience with liquid & gas handling equipment preferred (vessels, tanks, air handling equipment, mixers, etc.).
