THE OPPORTUNITY

  • YES Prep needs a forwardthinking and detailoriented Compensation Analyst, with a diverse set of experiences to make our mission a reality.   • To put it simply, you will support the development and ongoing administration of YES Prep's compensation programs, strategies, and policies.

THE ROLE**- You would join a lively and diverse team of individuals striving to staff our school and organization with game changers for educational excellence for the students we are dedicated to serving.

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:

Ensuring that 100% of instructional staff will be hired and approved to start by June 30_

  • Executing YES Prep's compensation philosophy, policies, and protocols by determining compensation offers for campus roles and verifying all compensation data within the HRIS;
  • Ensuring that 90% of extended teacher salary offers are accepted;
  • Collaborating across all departments and campus leadership providing clear communication on compensation practices, policies, and decisions;
  • Supporting with the annual rollover process to ensure that all salary changes are accurate for the upcoming fiscal year;
  • Successfully supporting with executing the creation and distribution of accurate annual compensation statements to all staff in May annually;
  • Responding to inquiries regarding compensation practices and procedures, along with making recommendations for the resolution of outstanding issues;
  • Regularly participating in and gathers data from marketbased compensation surveys; using spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends for compensation improvements.

  • Documenting, updating, and maintaining a suite of staff compensation resources to ensure that staff understand how compensation is determined;
  • Responding quickly and thoroughly to staff compensation questions and concerns and escalating concerns that impact our commitment to equity and transparency;
  • Leading with a lens of equity in all compensation decisions to ensure that we are meeting or leading market across instructional and noninstructional roles;
  • Performing frequent audits of internal compensation data, then identifying and addressing discrepancies;
  • Collecting and analyzing employee feedback and data on specific issues or topics related to compensation;

  • Executing performance pay structure, ensuring that 100% of staff are paid accurately, on time, and according to eligibility standards;
  • Working with the Comp and Benefits team to create training resources on pay structure for staff and managers;
  • Conducting market research to ensure performance pay structure is aligned to industry standards;
  • Executing on tracking of generated Teacher Incentive Allotment funds and distribution for designees as well as communication with TIA designees;
  • Supporting with the annual stipend review process and the biannual stipend distribution process;
