Busy community pharmacy is looking for an experienced pharmacy tech for our fast growing pharmacy location in Belleview. The Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist and works under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

Job Responsibilities for the pharmacy technician include:

• Entering and processing new and refill prescription orders, supply and equipment requests while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Filling patient orders accurately by selecting and retrieving the appropriate medications, verifying quantities, and preparing prescription labels for medications and related supplies.
• Forwarding orders to Pharmacist for completion, verification and/or clarification.
• Accurately enters data into pharmacy computer system so that appropriate paperwork is generated
• Selecting appropriate supplies and ancillaries based on medication requirements, patient need and preference.
• Ensures client specific materials are paired with order and prepare for pickup.
• Prior to the end of their shift or as scheduled, clean dispensing area equipment and replenish workstation supplies.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, internal and external customers.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Must be certified and be able to pass a level II background check

Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (preferred)
