Description
Under the close supervision of the Captain in Facility C, the Office Technician (Typing) is responsible for the clerical operations of the Facility Program Office.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

- Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJDCF) is a multimission institution: RJDCF's primary mission is to provide housing for General Population and SNY, Level I, II, III & IV inmates serving their term of incarceration at RJDCF. Additionally, we provide health care services and rehabilitative programs to inmates while incarcerated at RJDCF. RJDCF is a designated institution for inmates with severe mental illness, inmates with developmental disabilities and is responsible for providing officer coverage for inmates being treated in community hospitals throughout San Diego County. - The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
