Atrium Health Medical Group - Well-being & Clinician Leadership Development Leader
Overview:
• This position plays a crucial role within the Atrium Health Medical Group Leadership team, focusing on enhancing the well-being and professional development of physicians and advanced practice providers. • By partnering with key stakeholders and leading initiatives, the goal is to improve the overall professional experience, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being.Major Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning: Create and execute a strategic vision for clinician well-being and leadership development initiatives that align with Atrium Health's mission and values. • Program Development: Collaborate to design and manage comprehensive well-being and leadership programs for physicians and advanced practice providers. • Inclusive Support: Ensure diverse needs are met, including mental health programs and initiatives for equity, diversity, and inclusion. • Work-Life Integration: Implement initiatives to promote work-life balance and reduce burnout among physicians. • Community Engagement: Organize events to foster a sense of community and connection among providers. • Collaboration and Communication: Work with various departments to integrate well-being into provider experiences. • Scholarship: Contribute to scholarly work to increase national presence. • Reporting Data and Insights: Develop reports to measure the impact of well-being programs for providers. • Enterprise Integration: Ensure alignment with Advocate Health's broader strategy and facilitate the exchange of best practices.Reporting Structure:
• This role reports to the Chief Physician Executive.Education:
• Must possess a terminal (M.D.) degree, with knowledge and experience in well-being and leadership development.Experience:
• Preference for candidates with administrative, academic, and clinical experience.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Candidates should have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as a commitment to teamwork. • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting well-being and professional development, strong interpersonal skills, conflict management abilities, and the capacity to lead and develop teams.
