- Weekly Interdisciplinary Team Meetings Ideal candidate would have:
- Board-Eligible in Hospice/Palliative Medicine
- Experience in Oncology
- Experience across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs)
- Appreciation of the team-based approach to co-managing patients About the Department of Supportive Oncology:
- Led by our Chair, Dr. Declan Walsh, an internationally renowned physician, educator, researcher, & administrator
- Fully integrated into LCI with strong referral streams and access to LCI/Atrium Health resources
- Weekly Supportive Oncology Grand Rounds and Research Meetings
- Excellent collaboration and access to the established Sections of Oncology Nutrition, PsychoOncology, Cancer Rehabilitation, Cancer Navigation, Senior Oncology, Integrative Oncology, and Cancer Survivorship
- Great collegiality within the practice and support among other specialists and administration
