    Position Purpose:


    As an Auditor II supporting our Fidelis Care health care plan, you will conduct audits to ensure compliance with Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations; and New York State rules and regulations.

    Identify improper processes, research issues, and prepare reports on related issues and provide recommendations as needed.

    In this Auditor II role, you will:
    Develop methodologies to conduct monthly audits.

    Prepare audit plans and conduct audit procedures including review of rules and regulations against internal policies and procedures for compliance over compliance pieces within Member records, such as backup plans, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)s, MD Orders, Received Dates, Monthly call documentation accuracy, listening to monthly calls, Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) accuracy and timeliness .

    Prepare and draft audit reports of findings and recommendations for corrective action responsive to the observed areas and deficiencies.
    Perform follow-up procedures to validate implementation and effectiveness of action plan, and make additional recommendations as warranted.

    Education/Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
    2+ years of accounting or auditing experience. Healthcare industry preferred.
    Some excel knowledge preferred; such as pivot tables and vlook ups.

    Highly preferred, yet not required:
    Familiarity of New York State rules and regulations
    *Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States. However, due to the needs of the business, ideal schedule is EST time zone*Pay Range: $54, $97,100.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
