Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Manager: Work alongside the Service Manager to learn and assist with daily operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Workflow Management: Help in managing the workflow process to ensure efficiency and timely completion of repairs and services.
  • Customer Interaction: Develop skills to interact professionally with customers, understanding their needs and providing updates on service progress.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining service records.
  • Learning and Development: Continuously learn about the heavyduty truck, equipment, and hydraulic industry to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Computer Tasks: Utilize various computer systems and software for scheduling, inventory management, and communication purposes.
  • Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving issues that may arise in the service process.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in automotive or diesel technology is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and capable of learning new software quickly.
  • People Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with mínimal supervision.
  • Interest in Industry: A genuine interest in the heavyduty truck, equipment, and hydraulic industry.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner who is adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.

Preferred Attributes

  • Previous experience in an automotive or diesel repair environment is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think independently.

$ $23.00 per hour
