The City of Mönchengladbach is looking for a *traffic planner for pedestrian and bicycle traffic* to join the newly established "Active Mobility" team in the Department of Urban Development and Planning - Municipal Mobility and Traffic Planning Division - as soon as possible.


Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Development of plans for bicycle facilities in the city's road network in accordance with HOAI (phases 14: basic assessment, preliminary design, detailed design, and approval planning)
  • Coordination of planning results with technical authorities, departments, citizens, neighboring municipalities, and the state road construction authority
  • Responding to political and citizen inquiries
