We are currently seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team and help grow our irrigation department. If you are looking to work for a learning organization and possess the skills to manage maintenance crews, we want to hear from you

Rates:
Irrigation Foreman and Crew - $23 - $28 per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:
As an Irrigation Foreman, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ability to lay out the job site and order materials
• Effective management and direction of a crew of one or two people
• Meeting or exceeding company production standards for irrigation service work
• Ensuring jobs are kept on schedule and under budgeted man hours
• Installation of new systems and servicing of existing systems
• Complete knowledge of irrigation systems, from start to finish
• Troubleshooting irrigation systems and recommending solutions for efficient water usage
• Winterizing irrigation systems to prevent freeze damage
• Diagnosing and repairing issues with existing residential and commercial irrigation systems
• Checking functionality of systems, adjusting controllers, heads, nozzles, etc., to ensure proper coverage and watering efficiency
• Programming clocks, replacing heads, pipes, fittings, wire valves, timers, and rain sensors
• Representing the company professionally by communicating with clients regarding system status, water conservation recommendations, and proper watering schedules
• Maintaining accurate records on a tablet through the Aspire system
• Availability for weekend work during peak season and to make up for rain dates during the week
• Participation in the snow program during winter months
• Conducting inspections of irrigation system components to ensure proper operation
• Maintaining an inventory of irrigation parts and tools to minimize downtime
• Operating, maintaining, and repairing complex irrigation systems and equipment
• Reporting serious irrigation breaks to the Operations Manager and maintaining a daily log of completed repairs
• Routine inspections of irrigation system components and adjustments to ensure proper operation
• Building relationships and effectively communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Operating company equipment such as trenchers, pullers, trucks, and other tools
• Reading irrigation plans and drawings
• Selfmotivated with a cando attitude and a willingness to work
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and direct a crew
• Experience in irrigation systems, with a minimum of 2 years of hardscape experience
• Strong time management, organizational, and decisionmaking skills
• Pride in delivering exceptional results
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of organization
• Clean and professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with a supervisor by phone
• Reliable transportation and a cell phone
