    JOB SUMMARY

    The Senior Development Director plays a vital role in driving the organization's resource development strategy. This position emphasizes the importance of building and nurturing relationships with donors and stakeholders, aiming to enrich their financial commitment and engagement with TCC. You will work collaboratively with a team to execute the development strategy, expand resources, and ensure donor interests align with TCC's mission.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and implement annual resource development plans.
    • Create and maintain infrastructure for managing resource development information effectively.
    • Forge strong relationships with current and potential donors, overseeing the complete donor acquisition, solicitation, and stewardship processes.
    • Develop engaging materials and content that reflect the agency's mission and objectives.
    • Communicate the agency's activities and impact through effective external messaging products.
    • Formulate and oversee grant strategies in partnership with funders.
    • Establish and sustain robust connections with major donors and funding stakeholders to encourage meaningful engagement.
    • Plan and develop communications that support marketing initiatives.
    • Produce impactful materials for external audiences that illustrate the agency's contributions.
    • Leverage data insights to identify leads and cultivate donor relationships.
    • Gather and analyze information to prioritize resource development activities.
    • Utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of development initiatives.
    • Establish a framework for evaluating high-impact community outreach and resource opportunities.
    • Guarantee that all development and communication activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
    • Maintain active community involvement by attending relevant professional meetings.
    • Promote public awareness of our services throughout the service areas.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFRE certification is preferred.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in development, specifically in donor engagement.
    • Experience with capital campaigns is highly desired.
    • Salary will be determined based on experience.

    Skills/Specialized Knowledge/Abilities

    • Demonstrated success in securing substantial donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to forge and maintain relationships.
    • Independent self-starter with strong organizational capabilities.
    • Competence in utilizing various social media platforms for engagement.
    • Familiarity with the Greater Cincinnati community and its philanthropic landscape.

    Physical Requirements:
