    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 4x10 day shift contract at an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA.

    Responsibilities

    • Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
    • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Call requirements include 4–5 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks
    • Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
    • 12-week contract
    • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
    • Local candidates are accepted
    • No schedule change requests or alternate shifts will be accommodated; the posted shift is firm
    • RTO is capped at 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
    • Holiday coverage is expected: if 1–2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work 2 of them and may request 1 holiday off for approval
    • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
    • Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
    • Active professional licensure required at time of consideration, if applicable
    • Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
    • Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
