    Job Opportunity – Histology Technologist – Georgia

    Start Date: March 23, 2026
    Location: Atlanta, Georgia
    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Night shift, 13-week assignment

    Highlights:

    • Work in a comprehensive pathology laboratory supporting surgical services
    • Hands-on experience with full histology workflow including specimen processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
    • Utilize Cerner EMR system for specimen accessioning and tracking
    • Collaborate with pathology assistants and support cytology and immunohistochemistry departments
    • Stable night shift schedule with no weekend requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

    Requirements:

    • ASCP certification (HT or HLT) required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting
    • Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
    • Proficiency in specimen receiving, accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and slide staining
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
