• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors.
• Support residents in maintaining their rights and independence, promoting dignity and respect.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering social interaction and engagement.
• Specialize in dementia care or memory care for individuals with cognitive impairments.

• Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with assisted living or longterm care settings is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Understanding of resident rights and the importance of upholding them.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide personcentered care.
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with diverse needs.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and sensitivity.

Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
