Description
Recovery Unplugged is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians for our new Mental Health facility located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are set to open the doors on May 15th, 2024.Recovery Unplugged is a licensed drug and alcohol treatment center with multiple locations throughout the country. We provide long term substance abuse and mental health treatment for clients coming from all over the U.S. We have a cutting-edge approach which blends evidence-based treatment with music to enhance client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication and build rapport for individuals with behavioral or emotional issues.
- Work with clients to ensure house rules are being followed.
- Complete all steps of client intakes; drug test upon intake, search of client belongings/property, complete intake with client through KIPU.
- Complete all steps of client discharges; return personal belongings to client and have client sign discharge paperwork in KIPU.
- Perform waived drug testing on incoming intakes and random UA's on clients.
- Complete Q15 checks to ensure safety of clients
- Make sure property is clean at all times.
Job Requirements

Experience in Mental Health is strongly preferred
:
- High School diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Flexibility in schedule
- Knowledge and understanding of the 12 steps and the disease model of addiction
- Preferred experience with KIPU EMR
Job Types:

$ $20.00 per hour
