    Description

    We are in an exclusive partnership with one of the most innovative human flight space startups in L.A, working towards launching commercial space-stations by 2025.

    Join us as a Senior Flight Software Engineer, where you will take the lead in developing and structuring crucial flight software and systems. In this role, you will directly report to the VP of Software and collaborate with a talented technical team of aerospace engineers.

    Responsibilities of a Senior Flight Software Engineer:

    • Develop flight software for in-flight computers and other essential spacecraft hardware.
    • Collaborate with the Electrical and Hardware division to smoothly integrate software solutions.
    • Configure RTOS, Microprocessors, and Linux Kernels/Drivers.
    • Design and implement comprehensive software test cases.

    Requirements for a Senior Flight Software Engineer:

    • Proficiency in coding in C++ and Linux environments (or equivalent experience).
    • Familiarity with hardware datasheets and schematics.
    • Experience with tools such as Git, Make, and GNU tools.
    • A degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
