Reporting to the VP, Chief Enterprise Architect, this role will be responsible for the strategy, vision and be the primary driver of implementing and deploying the digital thread across the entire Eaton ecosystem.

The digital thread connects traditionally siloed data, process and systems enabling an end-to-end viewpoint that drives seamless collaboration and data-driven decision-making.


This role will collaborate with the BRMs, Value Chain leaders and product owners to influence and lead the strategy, architecture, design, development, and governance of the end-to-end digital thread which includes technology solutions, data flows and process architecture across multiple facets of Eaton's overall value chain.

Through these partnerships at all levels of the organization, the goal is to improve business performance and realize expected benefits/value, and drive adoption of standard processes and best practices across business and technology teams.


In this role you will:


Digital Thread Strategy:


  • Vision, develop and execute a comprehensive digital thread strategy that aligns with the Eaton's overall business objectives.

Process Optimization:


  • Collaborate with process management teams to Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and propose improvements.
  • Partner with BRMs, Business and IT CI teams, and leverage capabilities such as process mapping and process mining to determine process impacts to the Digital thread
  • Streamline workflows by leveraging the digital thread to eliminate redundancies and enhance productivity.

Data Integration and Collaboration:


  • Integrate data across different stages of the order to cash process, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
  • Collaborate with product design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to create a unified digital representation of products.
  • Facilitate crossfunctional communication and collaboration to enhance efficiency and informed decisionmaking.

Technology Implementation:


  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for digital thread implementation.
  • Work with value chains, value streams and product owners to deploy and maintain digital thread solutions.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance throughout the process.

Change Management:


  • Drive organizational change by promoting the adoption of digital thread practices.
  • Provide training and support to employees on using digital thread tools effectively.

Performance Metrics:


  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital thread implementation.
  • Monitor and report on the success of digital thread initiatives.

Your Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience leading increasingly larger crossfunctional teams and business focused transformations
  • EndtoEnd business process knowledge, across multiple domains including Finance, HR, Legal/ Audit, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Industry 4.0, Sales & Marketing, Order Management, Lean/Six Sigma, Product Management
  • Enterprise and business architecture, composable and integration architectures
  • Technical and Functional skills in core technologies such as ERP (SAP/ Oracle EBS/Fusion/ MFGPro), Generative AI, AI/ML, Cloud, IoT, CyberSecurity and Manufacturing Systems
  • SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, EPM, Salesforce and other functional platforms
  • Agile & hybrid project management and execution methodologies and contemporary collaboration tools

Your Skills:


  • Strategy, business transformation and management consulting experience desirable
  • Executive presence and communication skills, relationship building and influence, organizational change management skills, people development and ability to drive high employee engagement
  • Selfmotivated, selfdirected, problem solver who can assess and develop strategies for anticipating and achieving customer needs
  • Ability to motivate and mobilize teams, to operate with speed and flexibility, navigate the turns, and display a global perspective with cultural awareness
  • Partnership and collaboration skills a must. Ability to work across organizational and departmental boundaries, and drive deliverables to ensure that business outcomes are met
