Job summary
DUTIES: Performs all aspects of freight brokerage customer service through direct communication with transportation planners and carrier procurement partners identifies analyzes customer requirements ensures that the level of service provided meets or exceeds customer expectations actively bids on spot freight opportunities increases win percentage by representing value proposition of internal brokerage services enters load details in TMS coordinates appointment setting with customer executes proactive communication with customer works with Carrier Team to ensure client shipments are proactively booked tracked for on time pickup delivery uses various transportation systems to coordinate movement of freight meet customers rate service time requirements sets meets deadlines as per customer expectations delivers against growth profitability targets researches determines growth opportunities within each customer leads efforts increase efficiency profitability operations Other duties as required assigned RESPONSIBILITIES: Professionally performs all aspects of freight brokerage BACHELOR S Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Management Entrepreneurship Marketing related studies preferred Minimum years related experience heavy concentration on brokerage operations Experience Transportation Management Systems market tools software analysis large data sets PC literate Microsoft Outlook Word Access Excel Excellent written oral communication skills demonstrate proven ability develop relationships range internal external customers Excellent planning organizational skills Knowledge domestic transportation documentation modes transport Knowledge regulatory compliance US truck freight brokerage Excellent personnel development skills Strong problem solving skills Ability travel when applicable Ability work fast paced environment JOB DUTIES: Performs all aspects of freight brokerage LOGISTICS ACCOUNT MANAGER bachelor s degree supply chain logistics business management entrepreneurship marketing EXCELLENT WRITTEN ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS PROVEN ABILITY RELATIONSHIPS INTERNAL EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS
