Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions in Active Directory
- Perform system imaging and deployment using imaging tools
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated technical issues and implement solutions
- Monitor and maintain inventory of desktop equipment and software licenses
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Communicate effectively with endusers and stakeholders to provide updates on support tickets and project statuses
Qualifications:
- Experience with Helpdesk ticket tracking software and remote desktop support tools
- Configure, install, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot supported hardware and software including VPN connections, PC's, printers, handheld Android scanners, desk phones and cell phones
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user management, group policy, and security permissions
- Experience with system imaging and deployment tools, such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or similar solutions
- Knowledge of networking protocols and basic networking concepts
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
- Proven work experience as a Help Desk Analyst or IT Support Technician
- Strong problemsolving, analysis and time management skills and high level of organization and detailorientation
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize with strong time management skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Experience with SAP, Macintosh OS, iPads and scan guns a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 4 years of Corporate Help Desk, Desktop Support experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in similar role
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and relocate IT equipment as necessary
- May be required to run network cables as needed
- Ability to commute to office locations in Melville and Amityville (required)
