Description
Sustainable port management from a single source: we ensure the economic heartbeat of the Hanseatic city.

Every day, our 1,800 employees give their full commitment to rail, roads, gravel, bridges, locks, barriers, as well as safety and efficiency in the port.

We plan and oversee complex projects for a variety of structural buildings and manage real estate and land.

We combine efficiency and environmental awareness, thanks in part to the use of the latest technologies and forward-thinking projects such as smartPORT.

In short:

Are you ready to make the port with us?

The METHA (Mechanical Separation of Harbor Sediments) is a unique mechanical engineering facility operated to ensure safe water depths for international shipping in the Port of Hamburg at all times.

Its task is to process the contaminated sediment in the port according to soil mechanical principles.

The material is separated into grain fractions in the facility and dewatered so that it can be safely stored in hilly landfills afterwards.

The expected production quality as well as the production quantity are significantly dependent on ongoing and competent monitoring and maintenance of the individual machines and components.

We are looking for you as a plant operator - for our 3-shift operation at METHA, which runs around the clock for five days (Mon-Fri) per week.

Come on board
