_Administrative Medical Assistant_ (AMA) to play a critical role supporting the daily operations of our organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Provide highquality customer service, manage patient queries, and address phone calls
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to data privacy and HIPAA regulations
Organize and maintain office files, documents, and records
Offer clerical and administrative support across multiple departments
Enhance office efficiency through process improvements
Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensure precise financial recordkeeping and patient billing
Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Support billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely submissions
Assist in preparing reports related to billing and administrative activities
Maintain inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate ordering and shipping logistics

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ALTEAS:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong administrative and clerical skills
Knowledge of compliance regulations, including HIPAA
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
Compassion, resiliency, integrity and humility
Innovative thinker
Previous experience in medical billing or medical records management is a plus
Professional certification(s) (CPC, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC-H) is preferred
