CDL Class B Local Delivery DriverJob Summary
Our delivery drivers are the face of our company – they drive our daily relationship building interactions with our customers, which is why they are such an integral part of our customer service team.
We rely on our drivers to set the standard for what kind, competent and professional looks like in customer relationship building.
This role also combines work physicality with the responsibilities of being a safe CDL driver.It isn't as hard on your body as delivering beverages day in and out, but the role will require you to be healthy and fit enough to roll cylinders in and out of customer locations.
Our drivers love working for us because they are deeply respected by the entire company and our customers.They also love that they get to take on challenging work that keeps them active, thinking, and contributing to the long-term success of their team.
Responsibilities:
Deliver cylinder gases to customer locations.
Deliver liquid Dewar cylinder gases to customer location.
Operate a handheld scanner system during all deliveries.
Operate the 26 ft. Box Truck safely and always in compliance with DOT and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Valid CDL B license
Clean MVR with no accidents or moving DOT violations in the last 3 years
Ability to work well both independently and within a team
Physical movement (lifting, rolling, maneuvering) of products including moving atmospheric gas cylinders with a cart and boxes of 60 pound wire
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
HAZMAT endorsement
Cylinder handling experience
Deep love of working within processes to ensure accuracy and success
Skilled in building and maintaining customer relationships
An eye for detail – we need someone who can find the needle in the haystack
