Duties

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is: To manage, analyze, and perform work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify information technology (IT) or educational technology (EDTC) systems for the Air University's Squadron Officer College Learning Sciences and Technology (TS) programs and services. Evaluates and manages TS IT /EDTC structures, applications, and integrated systems. Analyzes information requirements and procedures for assessing the effectiveness of TS integrated systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: aka DUTIES

Serves as a senior educational-information technology specialist.

Functions as a senior planner for Air University Squadron Officer College TS efforts.

Supports partnerships and relationships with external organizations (., business community, other education institutions and agencies, military services) to improve TS IT/EDTC enabled programs and services and to facilitate the sharing of best IT/EDTC practices.

Works with Air University and Squadron Officer College leaders to continuously flex organizational plans and governance structures to better leverage TS IT/EDTC enabled initiatives and services.

Serves as key advisor to SOC faculty, staff, and leadership in the technical and educational aspects of the design, development, testing, and implementation of digital educational material for both resident and distance learning courses.
