Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officers
The Town of North Hempstead's Department of Public Safety is looking for a few good Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officers (PEO's) to patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to enforce Town parking regulations and restrictions.
This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, as well as knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field.
Officers rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. PEO's work under general supervision.
A valid New York State's driver's license is required prior to employment and must be maintained during employment, as well as a New York State Security License.
