- Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and surface grinders
- Inspecting completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, such as vernier calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, and drop dial indicators
- Operate machine tools with conversational programmable CNC controls such as the Prototrak control
- Must have attention to detail and strong personal initiative
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or two to five years related experience and/or education in Machining Technologies required
