Job Title: Application Programmer Analyst III

Location: Louisville, KY - onsite

Duration: 6 months CTH

Must have Guidewire Policy Center experience

• Bachelor's degree required. Computer Science degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years programming experience.
• Advanced understanding of Systems Analysis and Design is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of Core Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL strongly preferred. Other related object oriented development experience may be substituted.
• Advanced understanding of JEE, Spring frameworks, or similar development environment preferred.
• Advanced understanding of JDBC and Hibernate preferred.
• Familiar with IBM WebSphere Application Server or similar environment preferred.
• Familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, or preferred.
• Familiar with Eclipse IDE preferred.
• Advanced understanding of web services (SOAP and REST) preferred.
• Familiar with XML and JSON preferred.
• Demonstrates expert understanding in at least one insurance vertical (both technical solution and business processes for Billing/Finance, Claims, Client, Policy, etc.)
• Demonstrates coaching and leadership skills.
• Training in project management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodology preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Consistently demonstrates above average people and negotiation skills.
• Consistently demonstrates a positive and supportive work attitude.
• Excellent communications skills – verbal, written, and listening.
