The responsibility of the Grill Cook is to prepare, cook and serve food items on the grill.The job involves setting up restocking and breaking down of the grill daily production meal items daily menu specials preparing daily specials hot sandwich production sides cooking operating a variety of kitchen equipment washing peeling cutting shredding food trimming cutting meat poultry tasting food products reading menus estimating food requirements checking production keeping records planning production requirements controlling food waste cleaning equipment utensils maintaining temperature logs signage for the grill station maintaining awareness safety issues reporting them immediately to your manager.
