Responsibilities

Dishwashing, pot & pan washing, kitchen equipment cleaning
Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas throughout the shift
Various deep cleaning and maintenance projects in front and back of house
Maintaining service ware in a wellorganized manner
Follow NYC Department of Health regulations
Support kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications

1 to 2 years of porter and/or dishwasher experience in a café, restaurant, or food service business
Strong work ethic, well organized, focused, attentive to detail with a sense of urgency
Dependable and punctual
Enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude
Able to communicate effectively with team members
Respectful of fellow employees, managers, and vendors
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, reach bend, and stand throughout an 8hour shift

Schedule:
Full Time, On-Site

Hourly Rate:
$18.00
